Our history

With over 30 years in the energy industry, our parent group saw the shift to cleaner, greener energy, and the need to help businesses through this transition.

Ennovus Solutions was created to simplify carbon reduction and renewable energy generation for businesses, bringing to market a new option that offered safety, quality, and expert support.

We are one of five key divisions in the Consultus Group, strategically structured to offer businesses a holistic solution to energy management. Between our divisions, we can help businesses with everything from new meter connections, to energy procurement, to carbon reduction, and to wider net zero strategy.

1994

The Energy Brokers Ltd is incorporated and procurement services are launched.

1995

Engaging with the gas market begins.

1997

First energy consortium is introduced.

2003

Flexible Contract Management launches. European purchasing begins.

2008

Compliance service introduced.

2015

Engaging with the water market begins. Management buy-out by The Consultus International Group.

2016

Assured Energy launches (SME energy procurement)

2017

Consultus International acquires PEMXQ Limited.

2018

Consultus rebrands and launches new client-focused services.

2021

Net Zero Services established as core business strategy.

2024

Launch of Consultus Sustainability and Ennovus Solutions.

2025

Ennovus Solutions partners with Community Energy England to support community energy projects.
