The purpose of the staged approach is to ensure that any contract signed for the implementation of an asset is as accurate as possible so that projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and on-scope with zero incidents or accidents.

From a desktop assessment we will assess the renewable generation opportunities at your site. This will likely include solar (roof, ground, carport) and wind turbines. We’ll provide a high level analysis including generation rates, indicative costs, and payback periods for each option, as well as assessing the planning and development viability.
Engaging with the local planning authority at an early stage can increase the chances of a successful planning application, save costs, reduce timelines, and help to shape the project.
The grid connection is one of the critical elements of the overall project. Submitting a budget grid application and working with the DNO can help to provide strong project viability.
Our team will conduct a site survey, as well as working on the system design and analysis of the selected opportunities to provide further certainty to the project.
A detailed report including an executive summary will be issued to the client. The report will outline the system design, indicative cost, performance & financial modelling, and next steps.
The outcome of the pre-planning application will help to shape what surveys are required, such as an ecological appraisal. Additionally, engineering surveys such as a topographical or cat scan could be included at this stage.
We will develop the detailed engineering specification drawings, as well as a draft pre-construction information pack to enable us to tender elements of the project to our network of suppliers and installation teams.
The full planning and formal G99 grid application will be submitted. Ennovus will work with LPA and DNO to try to seek a successful response to both applications.
We will deliver a detailed report and executive summary for a fully defined renewable generation system. Our team can work with you to move from business case to implementation.
We provide feasibility across roof, ground, and carport solar. Ground mounted projects typically require the most detailed development due to their added complexities with planning.
Wind turbines for commercial and industrial applications will require full planning permission and engineering surveys, therefore benefitting from a structured development process.

The first step of a renewable energy strategy is a free desktop survey and virtual presentation with one of our project engineering. Stage 2, or the technical analysis will start from £6,000 depending on the scope and technologies included.
By conducting feasibility work for large scale renewable generation or multiple generation technology opportunities, it provides certainty to the investment. The development process can take 18 months or even more, from engagement to implementation. So by operating through a structured process it ensures that the generation asset is fit for purpose, that all necessary surveys, applications, and design work have been completed prior to exchange of contracts for the implementation, and that the asset can be implemented with minimal variation to the scope.
