Renewable energy funding solutions

Renewable energy installations are a great way to lower your energy costs and reduce your carbon emissions. But getting them off the ground can require significant investment. Our funding solutions for renewable energy
We offer four different renewable energy funding solutions for solar, wind and more. Explore your options below.
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
We install your solar system with no upfront cost. Instead, you’ll pay an agreed rate for the electricity generated, that incorporates an amount towards the installation, operation and maintenance, and any financial fees. This rate is typically significantly lower than grid electricity rates, so you’ll still be making savings whilst paying off your system!
Supply Contract Integration (SCI)
As part of the Consultus Group, we are in a unique position to offer Supply Contract Integration. If you purchases your energy through Consultus International, we can arrange with your supplier to add a small uplift onto their p/kWh import rate, typically ~ 1p/kWh, that is used to pay for your system.
Hire Purchase (HP)
A Hire Purchase agreement is your typical financing arrangement, whereby you pay for your renewable energy asset via fixed monthly instalments. You take ownership of your system at the end of the term. With this option, you are responsible for the operation and maintenance from day one.
Energy as a Service (EaaS)
This works very similarly to a Hire Purchase agreement; where you pay a recurring fee for your system. However, the asset is owned and operated by Ennovus Solutions during the term length, meaning it doesn’t appear on your business’s balance sheet.

Am I eligible for renewable energy funding?
Any business can access our funding solutions. The recommended funding mechanism is dependent on the asset type, business needs, and preferred term length.
How long will the funding term last?
The length of your renewable energy funding term is subject to the funding mechanism. Hire Purchase typically offers the shortest term lengths (5-10 years) whereas a PPA typically has a long term length (15-25 years).
Can you get solar for free?
Whilst renewable energy funding doesn’t technically mean you get solar for ‘free’, you can get your solar PV system installed at no upfront cost. The rate negotiated for your energy and repayments will typically be significantly lower than grid rates too, meaning the money you save on your electricity costs, can offset the payments for your system. So whilst your system isn’t ‘free’ in the literal sense of the word, the total saving you make can outweigh the costs and more!
