Switching over from halogen lighting to LED lighting is one of the quickest andcheapest ways to reduce your energy bill. It is also a push towards achieving your Net Zero targets.
Lighting, on average, consumes about 30%-45% of a business’ total electricity bill and switching over to LEDs can take this down to 10%-25%.
When you sign up for a lighting project with Ennovus Solutions, we will strive to complete within 8 weeks from start to finish.
Our process is simple – Survey > Design > Finances > Installation
• Survey – We offer a free site survey where one of our assessors will visit your site and identify which lighting fixtures need switching.
• Design – A bespoke detailed design will be created showcasing energy savings across the site(s). You will be guaranteed a saving in the first year.
• Finance – We will provide you with a range of finance options, along with the option to self-fund.
• Installation – Once all the steps in the process are complete, the installation will begin customers will start to see savings.
We provide a seven-year warranty on our lighting, with two years of onsite cover. Our initial site survey is free and your project will be delivered without causing disruptions to your everyday function. We’ll also provide support in acquiring government grants for your lighting project.

As well as switching to LED lighting, we can also assess savings which can be made through the use of sensors. Having a sensor will cut down the amount of time your light is on in any areas which do not get much footfall. Instead of the light being on for eight hours per day, this can potentially be cut down to five hours per day.
There are three main types of sensors used in the lighting environment. These are:
• Photocell – These are activated by low natural light level
• Motion – Inactive areas will be either switched off or dulled down
• Microwave – These are heat sensors
We can provide recommendations on which sensors would suit best depending on the amount of footfall going through the site(s).
An LED solution can give up to 60% cost savings compared to older lighting solutions. They also last longer providing peace of mind.
LED luminaires can last up to five times longer than fluorescent alternatives.
Halogen lights emit about 16 to 24 lumens per watt, whereas LED lights emit about 80 to 100 lumens per watt.
