At Ennovus Solutions, we understand that the drive to net zero, whilst immensely important, can require significant investment. That’s why, alongside offering a capital project, we offer four different renewable energy funding solutions to allow businesses to strive towards their net zero targets without any upfront payment.
Funded solutions are a brilliant option for businesses wanting to unlock renewable generation and energy saving measures wtihout any upfront cost
Supply Contract Integration (SCI) – As part of the Consultus Group, we are in a unique position of offering Supply Contract Integration. If the client purchases their energy via Consultus, we can arrange with the supplier to add a small uplift onto their p/kWh import rate, typically ~ 1p/kWh, to provide a monthly revenue stream to repay the upfront investment cost.
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) – This is typically a long-term arrangement, whereby the client pays for the units of energy produced via the generation asset. Our recommended PPA structure is a pay as produced model.
Hire Purchase (HP) – A typical financing arrangement whereby the client pays for the asset via fixed monthly instalments. They take ownership of the asset at the end of the term but are responsible for the operation and maintenance from day one.
Energy as a Service (EaaS) – A very similar mechanism to Hire Purchase; however, the asset is owned and operated by Ennovus Solutions during the term length and doesn’t appear on the business’s balance sheet.

Each funding mechanism for renewable energy follows a similar process from the initial engagement through to the end of the term. Ennovus Solutions will design, install, and commission the renewable generation or energy efficiency asset without any capital expenditure.
Once installed, the asset will provide energy, cost, and carbon savings. The funding solutions will be structured such that the savings are greater than the repayments, meaning you will save money from day one, whilst also boosting your business’s green credentials.
Our in-house design and commercial team, will work together to ensure the design and funding mechanism meets your business's needs. Once agreed we will install the system at no cost, and you can start enjoying the energy, cost, and carbon savings.

Any business can access our funding solutions. The recommended funding mechanism is dependent on the asset type, business needs, and preferred term length.
The length of term is subject to the funding mechanism. Hire Purchase typically offers the shortest term lengths (5-10 years) whereas a PPA typically has a long term length (15-20 years).
At the end of the term the client will either have the option to take ownership of the asset or to enter into another agreement. In the second agreement where Ennovus Solutions will continue to own and operate the asset on the client’s behalf, but at a much reduced rate from the original agreement.
